MEDICAL WELFARE SCHEME: PAF OFFICERS / AIRMEN

The scheme designed in 1986 as a welfare scheme. It was optional. Now the scheme has been made compulsory both for officers and airmen. The details of its contribution and claim as enumerated

 Airmen          Rs.24/-pm                 Rs.50,000/-                         Rs.100,000/-

 If the claim is not paid during service, the actual contribution will be refunded to the officers/airmen on retirement. The scheme is valid during LPR for death cover only.
