FWFS
was set up by PAF Base, Rafiqui in 1998 under the banner of PSO.
It is equipped with diesel as well as petrol reservoirs and can
service four vehicles at one time. Subsequently, in 2002 PSO
upgraded the station to “New Vision” standards. It has provided
employment to one officer, five JCOs/SNCOs and eight civilians.
In Sep 04, Shaheen Foundation took over the management of this
station and is not only paying the pay and allowances of the
staff, but also a share of profit to Base, Rafiqui. FWFS, Rafiqui
is a profit earning unit of Shaheen Foundation, Feasibility study
is being carried out to start CNG operations as well.
